Lori Green and C.L. McCullough first met during a shoot-out as their rival families fought over the last remaining moonshine still in the Ozmark Mountains. Orphaned at young ages, they went through childhood together at Saint Swivens home for the terminally virginal. After pledging Delta Sigma Slut in college, many things opened for the two women including opportunities.

 

Years of community service after most of their opportunities took 'interesting' turns left the two women banned from most enterprises in the US. With limited choices the women tried roller derby with the Rat City Rollers and then, in despair, tried writing novels. This effort met with relative success, which is a good thing, because the roller derby was getting old, plus Lori said the skates made her ankles look fat. CL told her they were fat.

 

So now the two are lean, mean, writing machines - metaphorically speaking, of course.
